Food was great. It's definitely not fast food though. Be prepared to wait a few minutes. It seems to stay very busy.
Dakota Diner is a true gem in Dickinson! I stopped in for breakfast and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious — exactly the kind of hearty, homemade breakfast you hope for when traveling. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel right at home. On top of that, the diner is spotless and comfortable, which really adds to the relaxed atmosphere. If you’re in Dickinson and want a great meal served with genuine hospitality, Dakota Diner is the place to go. Highly recommended!
Great roadside breakfast stop for us. Everybody was happy. Waitresses were great, food was delicious and nicely presented and prices were friendly!
Great little diner, not much room but it is worth it! I had the eggs Benedict and on my goodness it was amazing! I could’ve drank the hollandaise sauce on its own 🤤 A little spendy but not bad, about $14, but seriously delicious and worth it. Also they use old semi truck seats for the belly upper’s chairs, which I thought was a nice touch to ambience. It was very busy, it usually is, and the service was still great 👍🏻 definitely will be going again. My friend got a skillet which also looked amazing, also the portions are large. Writing this makes me want to go again.
Good Home Cooking with Friendly Service. I had the Ruben Sandwich with cheddar covered tater tots plus salad and fresh pumpkin pie. Everything fresh along with sweet tea. Located next to the Tiger Truckstop just north of the interstate, worth stopping.
Great service. I really enjoyed my meal. I had gotten it to go and it was amazing. If you like liver and onions this is a good place to get it.
This is a great all American diner. The service is friendly, the food comes out fast, the meal is satisfying and it is really all you need. We stopped whole road tripping and got a basic hot beef sandwich, but it hit the spot. Soup was fabulous and has all the North Dakota staple foods on the menu. The servers are amazing and so kind. Good prices. Good service.
Well.... I gotta say I really did enjoy the food. I'm a picky eater, well just picky but fair. The waitress who served us completely wonderful. Clean. Fast. Excellent service. If you're ever in town you gotta stop by.
Awesome food at a great price. Right off the Interstate. Lots of locals eat here and the waitresses didn't skimp on our service just because we weren't local. We'll be stopping here again the next time we're heading west for vacation.
